Creditía celebrates its fifth anniversary of financial inclusion

This Wednesday, September 6th, Creditía celebrates its fifth anniversary together with all its cardholders. More than 152,000 people around the country had access to their membership benefits.

“Creciendo Bien” provides its first aid to more than 200 children in the country

Almacenes Tía and CrezcoNut Foundation carried out a pilot programme that included children from Atahualpa, in Santa Elena, and Alausí, in the province of Chimborazo. More than 200 children between 6 months and 5 years of age with Chronic Child Malnutrition were directly benefited. 100% of the children attended all the brigades, followed the treatment and no longer suffer from child malnutrition. Tía plans to reduce the prevalence of maternal and child malnutrition in the country’s most vulnerable groups.

Tía opens a photovoltaic plant to optimise the energy and environmental efficiency of its operations

Supermercados Tía has developed one of its most important projects to replace polluting emissions with renewable and clean alternatives. The project started in July 2022 at the Regional Distribution Centre, located in Calacalí, with an investment above one million dollars. This system consists of 1,972 solar panels located on the logistics roof, which in turn covers an area of 5,000 m².
