GDN Argentina to invest more than $100M in two pharmacy and car servicing proposals in Mendoza

The national retail company that operates Híper ChangoMâs, ChangoMâs, Super ChangoMâs, MâsOnline and Punto Mayorista brands introduced Mâs Farma and Mâs Autocenter, its new brands for pharmacy and service centres for a comprehensive automotive maintenance.

Mendoza, October 11th, 2023.- GDN Argentina (parent company of Híper ChangoMâs, ChangoMâs, Super ChangoMâs, Punto Mayorista and MâsOnline) continues the process of expanding and transforming its operations in the country, following the acquisition of the Walmart assets in November 2020. On this occasion, the company presented two new service proposals at Híper ChangoMâs branch in Guaymallén: Mâs Farma and Mâs Autocenter, two exclusive sites for health care and comprehensive car maintenance, respectively, located at 1023 Moldes St (and South Access), in the town of Dorrego, Guaymallén (Mendoza). The start-up of these new business units entailed a total investment above AR$ 100M addressed to the reconversion of spaces, shopping experience improvement, as well as replacement of lighting fixtures with LED technology, among other refurbishments intended to offer a distinctive service and a better attention to Mendoza's customers. Mâs Farma and Mâs Autocenter launch was carried out today, at 1023 Moldes St. branch and was attended by Martín Lemos, general manager of the company; Liliana Romero, Operation director and Juan Pablo Quiroga, Institutional Relations director, among other executives of the firm. During the premises tour, Martin Lemos, GDN Argentina general manager, said “we want to bet on transforming retail segment through new services that allow customers to find everything they need in one place. These two new proposals of pharmacy and car service, as well as the new layout of the store showroom in Guaymallén, are part of our commitment to improve the service, care and proximity to each of our customers.” Mâs Farma renewed proposal in Mendoza is part of the 36 active stores the chain has in 16 provinces throughout the country. It is a supply area of the main drugstores where customers will gain access to the following options, among others: - Professional assistance by pharmacists, advice and reliable service to each patient, either on a private basis or as members of +30 health care providers and prepaid medical care. - New offer of main brand cosmetic and skin care products, in addition to +2,400 products offered and +22,000 drug references (vade mecum). - Exclusive assortment in one-of-a-kind premium perfume line, among other items. As regards Mâs Autocenter, it is a service centre for the integral maintenance of automobiles, where customers can condition their vehicles while making their purchases. This is an innovative proposal, in addition to the traditional repair shops and fast repair sites existing in the country, with +60 different services that range from front wheel assembly, to brakes, suspension, bearings, alignment and balancing, air conditioning, electronic scanning, tire workshop, lubricants. So far, GDN Argentina manages 43 Mâs Autocenter sites all over the country, in both formats Hiper ChangoMâs and ChangoMâs, which offer (from Monday to Sunday) +1,200 sale referrals, and perform +47,000 comprehensive services per month. By these two services’ expansion, GDN Argentina contributes to enhance and improve the value proposition to the customer, strengthening its retail ecosystem and betting on the development of innovative services that help improve the quality of life of each of its customers around the country.
