Giving smiles: TATA Group celebrated Children's Day with Pereira Rossell Hospital Centre.

In a joint effort to bring joy to Pereira Rossell Hospital Centre, TATA Group celebrated its traditional “Caring Children's Day” delivering special gifts to the children treated at the paediatric centre.

This celebration took place at noon on August 8 at Pereira Rossell Auditorium and was attended by the Group units: Supermercados TaTa, MultiAhorro Hogar, BAS and San Roque. In the presence of hospital authorities and representatives of TATA Group, more than 250 toys and accessories, as well as personal care products were delivered. Two refrigerators were also donated, which will be available in the institution inpatient unit. The hospital general director, Ricardo Ayestarán, M.D. expressed his gratitude for this collaboration, which each year reflects the company commitment to Pereira Rossell's young patients. “Many children and adolescents are going through difficult situations, so seeing them smile is a moment of great joy for everyone,” he expressed. Also, Magdalena Mutio, TaTa General Manager, reflected: “By this initiative we want to commemorate the right of all children to be happy and play. This is the fourth year that we have celebrated the Caring Children’s Day with the hospital and in each edition, we leave feeling that our hearts are full.” This gathering featured a wonderful musical surprise for the little ones, Lucila Rada, a talented artist known for her ability to touch hearts with her unique voice. Her performance brought smiles and a relaxing time to the children and adolescents, giving them joy in the midst of their challenges. Alfonsina Maldonado, godmother of the Department of Burns and Reconstructive Surgery, also participated in the event and collaborated in the delivery of gifts. Once again, the company reaffirms its commitment to the community through this action that year after year awakens smiles full of illusion.
